6 September 2000

LAS VEGAS--(Press Release)--Sept. 5, 2000--Park Place Entertainment Corp. (NYSE:PPE) today announced the opening of its new hotel check-in facility at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport.

This free service provides added convenience and comfort for guests of Park Place's four Las Vegas casino resorts: Bally's, Paris, Caesars Palace and the Flamingo.

The facility provides guests the opportunity to check into their hotel rooms at the airport and receive their room keys. Guests may also purchase show tickets, and future amenities include the option for guests to check their baggage at the facility for delivery to their rooms.

The facility is modeled after a full-service hotel lobby and is located in the south baggage claim area near the exit from the C and D gates. It will be open initially from 10 a.m. to midnight daily.

``The grand opening of our McCarran airport check-in service provides a terrific amenity to the guests of all of our Las Vegas properties,'' said Tom Sears, vice president for Park Place Entertainment. ``We are excited to offer this innovative service to our guests and are confident they will enjoy the added convenience.''

Park Place Entertainment is the world's largest gaming company and owns, manages or has an interest in 28 gaming properties operating under the Bally's, Caesars, Paris, Flamingo, Grand and Hilton brand names with a total of approximately 2 million square feet of gaming space, more than 28,000 hotel rooms and approximately 57,000 employees worldwide.
