Palm Beach Kennel Club supports local charities

11 October 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- During October, Palm Beach Kennel Club Poker Room will support local charities in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For a $25 donation, guests will receive an "On Track to Beat Cancer" T-shirt, with all proceeds benefitting local charities on Saturday, 28 October for the track walk at noon.

Other activities during the month include:
  • On Saturday afternoon, 28 October, there will be a special "On Track to Beat Cancer" Award Race, featuring some of PBKC's fastest and most talented Greyhounds.
  • Track Walk for Cancer on Saturday, 28 October at noon. Come on out and walk the racing track to show your support.
  • "Pink" drink specials.
Benefitting charities include the Lake Worth Christian's Dig Pink and Connie Vanderwey Memorial Scholarship, Little Smiles and National Canine Cancer Foundation (South Florida Chapter).
