Paisley Resubmits UK Casino Bid

PAISLEY, England – As reported by the Evening Times: "Paisley has put itself forward again as a casino contender, despite its bid being turned down four months ago.

"Renfrewshire Council has submitted revised plans to the Casino Advisory Panel and it's hoped the region will be considered as a potential location for a satellite casino as part of its regeneration masterplan.

"The CAP has now decided to accept additional submissions and is prepared to extend the shortlist depending on the responses it receives from applicants.

"…Renfrewshire Council is among three Scottish local authorities bidding for one of the eight large and eight small casinos which the Casino Advisory Panel will recommend over the coming months…"
