PA table games revenue up 3.3% in February19 March 2014HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Despite continued harsh weather, revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos rose 3.25% to $57.1 million in February 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Table games revenue last February was $55,348,241. The monthly report, posted on the Board’s web site, also shows that $8,269,771 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this February. Due to a decrease in slot machine revenue of 7.5% in February, combined revenue from the play of slot machines and tables games during February was $238,326,952 a decrease of 5% over last February’s total of $251,293,452. About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board was established in 2004 with the passage of Act 71, also known as the Race Horse Development and Gaming Act. Pennsylvania’s first new state agency in nearly 30 years, the Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state’s casino industry. |
