PA Gaming Control Board releases table game revenue figures for April18 May 2011HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today posted on its web site the revenue figures for April table games play at the ten operating casinos. Table games produced $52,886,879 in gross revenue in April generating $8,465,611 in tax revenue. Pennsylvania has a 16% tax rate on gross table game revenue with 14% going to the Commonwealth's General Fund and 2% to the local host county and municipality. April's total gross revenue exceeded $50 million for the second consecutive month, and table games has now returned more than $230 million of revenue to the Commonwealth. That includes $65,108,445 in taxes from the play of table games along with $165 million in one-time table games certification fees paid collectively by the casinos. |
