Over 70 Bids for Yarmouth Casino

YARMOUTH, England – As reported by the Norwich Evening News: "More than 70 companies have expressed an interest in snapping up Great Yarmouth's Marina Centre site - which could be turned into a casino complex.

"The borough council put the 11.25 acre site on the Golden Mile on the market in July and the deadline for bids passed this week

"Council chiefs said yesterday more than a dozen proposals had been received from national and international companies.

"…Yarmouth scores more points than any other towns wanting one of eight large casino licences up for grabs, allowing up to 150 slot machines and guaranteed to significantly boost the local economy…"
