Over $41 million in tribal gaming contributions for Arizona21 September 2022(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Arizona Department of Gaming announced today $41,571,869 in tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2023. This amount represents a 2.1 percent increase when compared to same quarter of Fiscal Year 2022. “Arizona’s tribal gaming industry continues to impress, with a quarterly contribution record of $41.6 million to the Arizona Benefits Fund,” said Ted Vogt, Director, ADG. “This follows record levels of tribal gaming contributions in the last fiscal year, highlighting the growth of tribal gaming since the signing of the amended Tribal-State Gaming Compacts by Governor Ducey and Arizona Tribes in 2021.” The Arizona Benefits Fund receives 88 percent of tribal gaming contributions, providing significant dollars to help support instructional improvement in schools, trauma and emergency care, tourism and wildlife conservation throughout the state. Since 2004, there has been $1.7 billion in tribal contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund.
