Oregon Wagering Hubs See 60.8% Handle Increase

OREGON – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "Five multi-jurisdictional wagering hubs in Oregon, including Youbet.com and Television Game Network, handled $224.9-million during the three-month period that ended September 30, a 60.8% increase over last year when the Oregon hubs handled $139.9-million.

"Youbet.com was the biggest gainer among the five hubs as the primarily online account wagering service bolstered its handle 84.5% from $38-million last year to $70.1-million this year. TVG handled $64.2-million (up 30.2%), The Racing Channel handled $58.6-million (up 72.4%), America TAB handled $27.6-million (up 76.5%), and Greyhound Channel handled $4.5-million (up 50.3%)…"
