Opposition wants govt to release gambling study15 April 2011NOVA SCOTIA -- There have been calls from the opposition for the government to release information from a gambling study, according to the Chronicle Herald. The study was conducted on the socio-economic impact of gambling by an Alberta consultant, the report explained. The NDP government described the study as "flawed and incomplete", but the freedom of information review officer gave a decision this week that the government should release it, the Chronicle-Herald reported. |
