Ontario’s first full-service sportsbook opens at Caesars Windsor12 January 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- The moment sports fans in Ontario have waited for has arrived! An exciting new era of sports betting was ushered in today with the grand opening of Ontario’s first full-service sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook at Caesars Windsor. At today’s grand opening event, Kevin Laforet, President, Caesars Windsor, was joined by Windsor-West NDP MP Brian Masse and Mayor Drew Dilkens. “Today’s grand opening is a testament to our community partners, Team Members, and our guests who have all patiently waited for this day,” said Laforet. “We embrace the opportunity to provide a world-class Caesars experience that both sports fans and guests will enjoy.” To commemorate the opening, Hockey Hall of Famer, Grant Fuhr, took part in the ribbon-cutting and ceremonial first bet, with any winnings benefiting The Grant Fuhr Foundation. Caesars Sportsbook at Caesars Windsor is located in front of Legends Sports Bar with three betting windows and seven betting kiosks. The 1,618-square-foot space also features 22 large-screen HD LED TVs with state-of-the-art sound, dedicated seating for unparalleled views, and fan-favorite menu items. Caesars Windsor’s knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff will be available to assist guests in placing their bets and learning about ways to sports wager responsibly. The grand opening event featured new menu items from Legends Sports Bar, including the launch of Caesars for a Cause, with Caesars Windsor Cares donating $1 from every specialty Caesar ordered from the Drinks & Bites menu to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. Tandem Engineering Group served as designer on the project in partnership with Artisan Construction, as general contractor, creating a venue that conveys the Caesars Sportsbook brand in a modern way through a lively and contemporary space fit for a Caesar. "We're thrilled to offer sports bettors a chance to get in on the action with all their favorite sports and enjoy the thrill of single event betting as part of our world-class resort experience at Caesars," said Laforet. With the sportsbook now open, guests can take watching the game to a whole new level in an electrifying environment. Bets can be placed on a wide range of sports including professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, auto racing, and more to bet like a Caesar all year long. Caesars Sportsbook is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight. Legends Sports Bar is open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight for food service and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. for beverage service. Sportsbook Kiosks are open 24/7 and are located in the Caesars Sportsbook, outside of the Poker Room, at the main floor Skybridge entrance, and inside The House Sports Lounge.
