Ontario warming to idea of Toronto casino18 January 2012TORONTO. Ontario -- The Ontario government is warming up to the possibility of a downtown casino in Toronto, the Globe and Mail reported. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission are proposing the idea with the Finance Minister now backing it because of the revenue potential for the province, the report said. Border communities, who have casinos, are less enthused though, pointing out it would impact their already struggling revenue streams, the Globe and Mail reported. |
