Ontario lottery goes after stolen win16 November 2011TORONTO, Ontario -- The Ontario lottery corporation are attempting to recoup $12.5 million from a Toronto woman who allegedly stole a winning lottery ticket, CBC News reported. The OLG has instigated a lawsuit to recover the money from Kathleen Chung and her family, the report said. Kathleen Chung allegedly cashed in the ticket, which was alleged stolen in 2003 by her father and brother from a customer at their family-owned store, CBC News said. The OLG has already compensated the true owners of the ticket and now face a serious challenge to recover the money, CBC News noted.
