Ontario government criticized for layoffs

HAMILTON, Ontario – As reported by CHML: "There's criticism of the McGuinty government following the layoff of more than 100 casino employees in Niagara Falls.

"Niagara-area Conservative MPP Tim Hudak complains that the job cuts come just weeks after the province announced it was spending 6 million dollars to drop the letter 'C' from the Ontario Lottery And Gaming Corporation logo.

"…He insists that 6 million dollars is what the province will save through the layoffs in Niagara Falls, combined with recent job cuts at the casino in Windsor…"
