Ontario casino proposed

CORNWALL, Ontario – As reported by the Cornwall Standard Freeholder: "Council will decide later this month whether it wants to pursue the idea of establishing a casino in Cornwall.

"Councillors Syd Gardiner and Andr‚ Rivette put forward a notice of motion Monday night asking administration to examine the feasibility of establishing a full-fledged casino in the Seaway City.

"…Gardiner, who first brought up the idea earlier this month, believes a casino would bring jobs, tourists and new funding to the city…"
