Oneida Nation to host job fair for new Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango11 March 2015ONEIDA, N.Y. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Oneida Indian Nation of New York, one of Central New York’s largest employers, is hosting a job fair on Monday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 18 for its new Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango. Oneida Nation recruiters will be conducting on-the-spot interviews for more than 250 permanent full-time and part-time positions in various departments including property management, gaming, food & beverage, IT, guest services, culinary and security. Applicants interested in employment at Yellow Brick Road Casino can stop by the new recruiting office located in the same plaza as the casino at 700 West Genesee Street in Chittenango between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on March 16 and 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 18. Interested candidates are encouraged to pre-register before March 16 at www.YellowBrickRoadCasino.com. Walk-ins are welcome and pre-registration is not required. In December 2014, the Oneida Nation announced plans to expand its Upstate New York operations with a new $20 million, 67,000-square-foot casino in the Village of Chittenango. The Yellow Brick Road Casino will feature more than 430 Vegas-style cash slot machines, a 500-seat bingo hall, two casual dining options, a country-western bar, and a general store. The new facility will complement existing Oneida Nation businesses and bring diversification to guests, appealing to locals interested in the excitement of slot machines and bingo, while grabbing a quick, casual meal.
