One-Millionth Bus Passenger Arrives At Foxwoods

She received more than $1000 in Foxwoods prizes and all the other passengers on the bus joined her for a private party to celebrate the milestone.

``I'm pleasantly surprised,' said Brier, who lives in West Roxbury, Mass. and occasionally visits Foxwoods with groups from West Roxbury or Newton, Mass. ``I certainly didn't expect this.' She traveled to Foxwoods today with 21 other passengers from the Leisure Group of West Roxbury.

The first year that one million passengers arrived at Foxwoods by bus was 1997.

Brier's prize package included a weekend getaway for two at either the Grand Pequot or Great Cedar Hotel, two tickets to any show at Foxwoods, dinner for two at any Foxwoods restaurant, an assortment of t-shirts, sweatshirts, a jacket, a clock, CD's and other Foxwoods mementos.

In addition to special commemorative t-shirts, the other passengers received the highest bonus package offered at Foxwoods, a $40 value consisting of $10 food, $10 Match Play & two $10 Keno coupons, a gift bag with vouchers for our Festival Buffet, and other Foxwoods mementos.

The party was held in the Food Court above the Foxwoods Bus Lobby, where a special cake was served with coffee.
