"And then there's Bill Storrs. "The former Houston police officer is spending his own money to promote casinos through the Internet. "…Storrs, 43, is on medical retirement and uses a wheelchair because of an off-duty motorcycle accident. He's an infrequent gambler, but says that what's good for states such as Louisiana could be a tonic for Texas. "…Storrs believes his effort could have more impact than the lobbyists.
