One Dead in Casino Bus Accident

ONTARIO, California – As reported by the Palm Springs Desert Sun: "State transportation and emergency crews have shut down all east-bound lanes of Interstate 10 from the Riverside-San Bernardino county line to the Fourth Street exit of Rancho Cucamonga until 3 p.m. in the in the aftermath of an accident caused when a bus headed to Fantasy Springs Casino smashed into a fire truck on the interstate at about 7:30 a.m. today. One person was killed and another person was severely injured, authorities said.

"The Upland Fire Department truck was parked on the center median at the scene of an earlier accident when the eastbound bus hit it, said California Highway Patrol Officer Lee Nuez.

"One person on the bus was killed and one firefighter suffered major injuries, he said…"
