Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association announces casino closings amid pandemic

The Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association announced today that it is "committed to providing the community with resources and updates as we work through this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic together."
“The leadership of Oklahoma’s tribal gaming community remains in constant communication with local, state, and national officials and each other to monitor developments," said Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association Chairman Matthew L. Morgan. "Each sovereign Tribal nation is actively engaged in evaluating and, where appropriate, activating Tribal response plans and adjusting operational practices, including increased sanitation and the possibility of suspending operations. Public health is of utmost concern for all, as are the wellbeing and livelihoods of the thousands of Oklahomans employed by our industry."
Below is a list of the casino properties that have suspended operations effective at 11:59 p.m. on 16 March 2020, until further notice.
