Oklahoma House Approves Casino Bill13 May 2004OKLAHOMA – As reported by the Oklahoman: "The House passed a measure today calling for a Nov. 2 statewide vote that will allow casino games at Oklahoma's horse-race tracks and allow some regulation of tribal casinos. "Representatives voted 58-42 to pass the bill that repeals the majority of Senate Bill 553, the gaming legislation passed earlier in the session. "The bill now goes to the governor for his signature, but critics say they will ask for an attorney general's opinion on the legality of the legislation…" |
