Ohio Town Uses Gambling to Draw Tourists

PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio – As reported by Channel Cincinnati: "Village officials of Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island are trying to draw back tourists who have avoided the island while a mystery illness has sickened more than 1,000 of its visitors.

"Island spokesman Tom Brady says tourism has been literally killed by the illness.

"So now, officials are turning the main drag of the Lake Erie tourist destination into a mini casino…"
