Ohio ommissioners studying casino issue

OHIO -- As reported by the Wilmington News Journal: "The three Clinton County commissioners say at this point they're suspending judgment on a possible casino in Clinton County, but they all seem to agree the main advantage is the prospect of an influx of money to the county General Fund.

"Two Ohioans with a vision to create a casino destination site in the state last week said they like Clinton County's central location, and if they were to develop a casino project in the county it would be along the Interstate 71 corridor.

"...The pluses and minuses need to be weighed, said Riley. "Basically, it's going to come down to how much will this generate for the county and will it be worth it for the county?"

"Clinton County Commissioner Mike Curry said he does not lean one way or the other on the question..."
