Ohio may seize casino jackpots won by deadbeat parents7 May 2014OHIO -- Ohio's Gov. John Kasich wants parents who owe child support to have gambling winnings garnished, according to a Columbus Dispatch report. A provision has been included in House Bill 483, the report said. The bill allows that winnings of certain amounts must be reported to tax authorities and they can be withheld from the winner if child support payments are outstanding, according to the Columbus Dispatch report. |
