Ohio City Supports Tribal Gaming

AVON LAKE, Ohio – As reported by the Ohio Morning Journal: "Avon Lake City Council voted 5-2 last night to approve temporary legislation that urges lawmakers and the governor to support Indian casino gambling in Ohio.

"The measure passed despite the strong objections of Ward 4 Councilman Michael Stanek and Ward 3 Councilman Larry Meiners, the two dissenting votes.

"President Gregory Zilka introduced the measure as being in support of the people's right to vote on the Indian gambling issue…"
