Ohio casino plans postponed14 November 2007MONROE, Ohio -- As reported by the Oxford Press: "Monroe City Council has postponed action on an agreement to allow the Eastern Shawnee Tribe to change locations of a proposed casino. "By a 5-0 vote Tuesday night, council tabled a resolution for City Manager William Brock to enter into a new site-specific agreement with the West Seneca, Okla., tribe. "...The tribe has approached the city to amend its existing agreement to reflect a change in the property, officials said..." |
