Ohio casino faces trademark challenge

OHIO -- Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is facing a trademark lawsuit challenge from Ohio State University, the Biz Journal reported.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. has sought to trademark "The Shoe" for its entertainment venue, the report said.

Ohio State vehemently defends its resistance to this trademark because the Ohio Stadium is known as "The Shoe" and they trademarked the title in 2006, according to the Biz Journal said.
