Ohio approves gambling bill25 May 2012COLUMBUS, Ohio -- House Bill 386, a gambling regulation bill, was approved in the Ohio legislature today, according to the Toledo Blade. New changes permitted by the bill include: racetracks will now be allowed to operate slots, bingo will have longer operating hours and there will be more days of living racing on the calendar, the report said. The bill was passed, as Ohio's first voter-approved casino opened earlier this month and the second will open on Tuesday, the Toledo Blade noted. |
