Official grand opening celebration of the Core Arena27 November 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Plaza Hotel and Casino is bringing the western legacy back to where it all started – downtown Las Vegas – just in time for the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. On 4 December, the Plaza will celebrate the grand opening of the Core Arena, the first and only permanent outdoor equestrian center in downtown Las Vegas, with City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Matt Shiozawa, a rodeo professional ranked 13th in the WNFR standings (2017). The special grand opening event will include brief remarks, official ribbon cutting, tours of the new arena, and photo ops with livestock and professional cowboys and cowgirls. |
