October proves a robust month for Louisiana's riverboats20 November 2015BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- Riverboat casino win in Louisiana rose 13% in October compared to the same month in 2014, The Advocate reported. The increase was due to a 25% rise in revenue specifically at the L'Auberge Baton Rouge, the report said. Only the Hollywood Casino saw a small decrease in revenue, while land based casinos also saw a 0.3% drop in winnings, according to The Advocate's report. |
