NZ charities get $300 million from pokies

NEW ZEALAND – As reported by the New Zealand One News: "Pokie machine revenue was worth more than $300 million to community groups last year.

"Charity Gaming Association chairman Paul East says hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders benefit each year by having gaming machines in their community.

"But he says it is a thin line maximising the benefit and minimising the harm caused by problem gambling…"
