NY tribal casino waits for approval15 August 2007ROCK HILL, New York -- As reported by the Catskills News: "The application by the Stockbridge-Munsees Native American Tribe, which wants to build a $700 million casino and hotel complex in Bridgeville, is awaiting federal approval in Washington, DC, its president said Tuesday evening. "Robert Chicks and a contingent of tribal officials met with Sullivan County leaders in Rock Hill to brief them on their progress. Chicks said their environmental assessment is complete and could conceivable be approved at any time..." |
