Nova Scotia: New study into gambling ordered17 June 2011NOVA SCOTIA, Canada -- A new study has been ordered into the socio-economic impacts of gambling in Nova Scotia, the Chronicle Herald reported. No dates for the study have been given yet, but it will investigate gambling-related suicides, the report said. The government has recently come under criticism for shutting down a study and failing to release a draft report in 2009 from that work, the Chronicle Herald said. |
