Nova Scotia gambling revenue down

14 July 2010

NOVA SCOTIA, Canada -- Nova Scotia gamblers kept their money in their pockets during 2009-2010 figures show, according to a Herald report.

The province received $146 million down from $153 million the previous year, the report explained.

In total people gambled $1.43 billion down from $1.47 billion, the decrease, expected, was understood to be a result of the weak economy, The Herald reported.
