North Marianas casino non-compliant11 May 2015NORTHERN MARIANAS -- The Casino Control Commission of the Northern Marianas is unhappy with the territory's only casino, according to a Marianas Variety report. The territory has gaming legislation in place, known as the Tinian Gaming Act, which requires the casino to be transparent about its finances, the report said. The gaming commission allege that the casino is not permitting examination of finances which could ultimately mean the casino ends up owing the state significant sums of money, according to Marianas Variety. |
