Normandie Casino reveals blackjack section

25 October 2006

CALIFORNIA – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Normandie Casino, the only original Southern California card club still existing today, drew the curtain on it's newest attraction, a luxurious V.I.P. Blackjack Section. Designed for those players desiring a bit more privacy, the new V.I.P. section provides the utmost in class. Decorated with fine artwork and water features, as well as plasma TV's and a separate sitting area, the room serves as a relaxing haven as well as a place to win big!

Considering the recent launch of Vegas-style Pure 21 Blackjack, the Normandie decided it was time to provide a room for players comparable to Vegas standards. Customers are very excited about Pure 21 Blackjack, and as casino owner Steve Miller explains, "it's Blackjack without Jokers or Wild Cards which in turn makes it easier for both the novice and seasoned players alike to enjoy." The Normandie Casino is currently the only card club offering it's players a V.I.P. room exclusively for Blackjack.

The decision to introduce this new form of Blackjack in a brand new atmosphere was clearly a smart one. Reactions from the crowd on Saturday night were fantastic as the ribbon for the new V.I.P. section was cut by four members of the Miller family who have owned and operated the Normandie Casino for over 60 years.

Players immediately filled the room anxious to try their hand at Blackjack while enjoying complimentary food and drinks. Needless to say, the party continued well into the following evening, and there has been a steady stream of satisfied players ever since.

Due in part to the positive feedback after the opening of the new V.I.P. section, the Normandie plans on continuing to update the overall look of the casino, restaurant, and showroom by introducing more modern elements into their design. The Normandie Casino may be the oldest card club in Southern California but they are determined to do what it takes to stay in the game, and if the V.I.P. Blackjack room is any indication of what is to come, we are in for a very impressive makeover.
