2 October 2013

IOWA -- A senior U.S. Strategic Command officer, Timothy Giardina, will not face prosecution over an accusation he used fake poker chips in an Iowa casino, according to an Omaha World Leader report.

Giardina will now face a military investigation over the alleged crime, the report said.

Giardina is alleged to have passed $1500 of false poker chips at the Horseshoe Casino, the Omaha World Leader reported.
