No applications for Kansas casinio17 October 2007KANSAS -- As reported by the Kansas City Star: "The deadline for proposals to build and manage a state-owned casino in Bonner Springs passed Tuesday without any submissions. "The passing of that deadline means the door is now closed to casino proposals in Wyandotte County. "...Bonner Springs — which set the latest deadline of the county's three cities — was included as part of the site for a proposed development anchored by a casino in neighboring Edwardsville. But when it came to getting a casino proposal of its own, the city had to fold.
