Nisqually Red Wind Casino will not reopen on 5 May2 May 2020Originally planned to reopen on 5 May, Nisqually Red Wind Casino announced that it will not be doing so and will remain closed until further notice. Below is a message that was posted on the casino's Facebook page. "Nisqually Red Wind Casino will not open on May 5th and remain temporarily closed, extending the closure date further into May. Washington Indian Gaming, Washington Tribes, and the Nisqually Tribe are working closely to identify the best opening dates and methods to safely operate their business enterprises. While we are anxious to open the doors to our local neighbors and community, we feel these next days and weeks are proving to be valuable time for preparedness, operational planning, flattening statistics and doing our part in the role of large employer and in support of the local economy. Our team misses you as much as you miss us! We hope to see you soon and will update everyone soon. Stay safe and stay healthy." |
