NIGC to Discuss Proposed San Pablo Casino27 July 2004SAN PABLO, California – As reported by the Contra Costa Times: "The National Indian Gaming Commission will host a scoping meeting Friday on a proposed Nevada-style casino in San Pablo. "The session will be held at Maple Hall in the San Pablo Civic Center at a somewhat unusual time for a business meeting: 7 p.m. on a Friday night. "…The Lytton Band of Pomo Indians wants to open a Nevada-style casino with slot machines at Casino San Pablo, which is currently the site of a card club. The 9.5-acre casino property forms the Lytton Rancheria. The casino would be managed by California Indian Gaming Management. The company's partners include the Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians, owners of the Cache Creek Casino and Resort in Yolo County…" |
