NIGC chair to address California assembly11 May 2007WASHINGTON, DC -- (PRESS RELEASE)-- National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Chairman, Phil Hogen, is scheduled to appear before the California Assembly, Committee on Governmental Organization. Chairman Hogen will speak about the impact of the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) decision on Tribal gaming regulation in California during the informal hearing. The press and public are allowed to attend. The NIGC is an independent federal regulatory agency established by the IGRA. The Commission maintains its headquarters in Washington, D.C., with six Regional Offices, one of which is located in Sacramento, California. |
