"The unidentified man is understood to have made several big wagers and lost $50,000 on one bet alone – that Argentina would finish within 21 points of New Zealand in the final. "The gambler's hunger for a big payoff bit the dust when Argentina's Santiago Gomez Cora was sent off for sinking his teeth into Tamati Ellison's stomach as he lay on the ground after a tackle.
