New Zealand Commission Reserves Decision13 September 2006NEW ZEALAND – As reported by Stuff: "The Gambling Commission has reserved its decision on whether Dunedin Casino should have its licence suspended after a woman allegedly gambled away millions of dollars there. "The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) applied to the commission for the casino's licence to be suspended after Christine Keenan allegedly gambled away $6.6 million at the casino over a three year period. "The Gambling Act requires casinos to have a policy for identifying problem gamblers, offering them advice and ultimately banning them for up to two years…" |
