New Zealand Casino Operating with 6-Month License

NEW ZEALAND – As reported by the National: "A casino at the Kavuna Resort Hotel is operating on a six-month licence issued by the Rabual Urban LLG, manager Toea Chan said yesterday.

"He said that upon expiration at the end of the six months, which is sometime in September, the licence would be reviewed.

"…He added he had been a longtime resident and only wanted to start something to benefit the community.

"Rabaul District Administrator Peter Peniat confirmed that a six- month licence was issued to Mr Chan to operate the casino…"
