New Singapore casino threatens to poach Packer's Asian high-rollers

SINGAPORE -- The recently opened Marina Bay Sands in Singapore may draw high rollers away from other properties in the region, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

One unnamed analyst in the Sydney Morning Herald report speculated on two Singapore based highrollers regulars at the Crown Casino Melbourne.

Crown has responded to the competition with $212 million worth of improvements to its high roller facilities, the SMH report noted.
