New rules for Ohio casinos

19 May 2010

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The rules around how the four planned Ohio casinos will operate are becoming clearer, according to The Plain Dealer.

If you want to gamble you'll need to be 21, if you want to drink you'll have until 2.30am to do so, and you'll have to smoke outside or elsewhere according to the Plain Dealer report.

The details are being finalised and there are two proposed bills (House and Senate) which also will impact how things evolve.

The big difference between the two proposed bills is around charity gaming at horse tracks, the report noted.
