Chris Christie has the support of nearly half New Jersey residents on spots betting according to a recent poll, the Press of Atlantic City reported. New Jersey wants to proceed on implementing sports betting at casinos, even though there is currently a federal ban on it, the report said. 45 percent of those polled supported proceeding without federal approval, the Press of Atlantic City said.
