New hours of operation at Rivers Casino and Resort Schenectady14 February 2021(PRESS RELEASE) -- Following New York Governor Cuomo’s extension of the closing time for bars and restaurants, and approval from the New York State Gaming Commission, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s new daily hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The casino had been opened from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. The new hours of operation go into effect today, Sunday, 14 February. Downtime is used for intensive property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day. Guests are required to wear face coverings (masks), follow social distancing guidelines, and have their temperature taken before entry. The Rivers “Sure Bet Sanitized” Team works around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized. In addition to slots throughout the gaming floor, guests are able to play on all of the casino’s table games including craps and roulette. Plexiglass barriers separating slot machines, players, and dealers have been installed for safety, and guests are required to sanitize their hands before and after play. The popular Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on all major sporting events during the casino’s regular hours from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Mian, Johnny’s To-Go, and Van Slyck’s are not open at this time. Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. with an enhanced menu, including select favorites from Dukes Chophouse and pizza from Johnny’s To-Go. Villa Italia is open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Dukes Chophouse is open tonight for Valentine’s Day dinner from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Moving forward Dukes Chophouse will be open Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Dukes Bar will be open for beverage and bar menu service Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. The Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center remains closed, and all live entertainment is on hold until further notice. Previously scheduled entertainment and events have been cancelled or postponed. The Landing Hotel is currently open Friday through Sunday.
