New Hampshire Track Plans Abandoned

NEW HAMPSHIRE – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "Kurt Sanborn, a consultant that Winners Circle Development Ventures hired to investigate the possibility of bringing Thoroughbred racing to Nashua, New Hampshire, said Winners Circle abandoned the idea as ongoing debate among leaders and citizens in the town continued.

"…Sanborn said that Winners Circle would continue to pursue locations in New England to build a new Thoroughbred facility.

"'If we find a place that is willing to host it, then we'll get into further conversations,' said Sanborn, who would not reveal the principals involved in Winners Circle. 'There are a lot of other places in New England you can look at; we certainly aren't going to go someplace we're not wanted.'"
