New environmental services director takes over at Pechanga

5 June 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Pechanga Resort & Casino, the largest resort/casino in California, just named Vito LoVerde as its new environmental services (EVS) director. As director, Vito will oversee the entire EVS department of 200 team members, as well as oversee the cleanliness, service and maintenance of the entire property. He will also be responsible for ensuring his team follows the Pechanga and departmental policies, procedures and practices, so that Pechanga guests have the best AAA Four Diamond experience possible.

Vito has 20 years of experience serving guests and team members in the environmental services industry for several esteemed properties in Chicago, Las Vegas and now in California. Given his training in both the luxury and casino/resort categories, Vito brings strong leadership and knowledge to Pechanga.

Pechanga is currently under a $285 million resort expansion set to open at the end of the year. It includes the addition of 568 rooms and suites, 70,000 additional square feet of indoor event space, a luxury, two-story spa and salon, a 4.5-acre resort pool complex and two new restaurants. Pechanga just celebrated the grand opening of the brand new 2,400-space parking garage featuring 44 electric vehicle charging stations and three Tesla Superchargers, marking the completion of the first phase of the expansion. Enough solar to power 100 homes along with a moving sidewalk to the casino entrance will be added to the new East Parking Garage this fall. The massive expansion creates the need for a larger EVS department and Vito's leadership.

When Vito is not working, you can find him spending quality time with his wife and two stepdaughters either traveling, cooking or enjoying fine dining.
