New bill exempts casinos31 January 2011MACAO -- A proposal to introduce non-smoking zones on casino floors will not cut it with casino employees, The Macau Times reported. In the interests of protecting their health, employees want an indoor smoking ban introduced by the government, the report explained. In the Macau government's three year transitional plan smoking will be banned in "entertainment establishments" but casinos are exempt, The Macau Times said. |
